default picture settings

Hi all

I want to add a default setting for new pictures (from file) in
presentation: I want them all have to have a borderline, color: red
width: 1.5 pt.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to edit the default picture setting
in such a way that every new picture has the border (the "Default fo
new objects"-checkbox doesn't seem to work for borders with
picture).
Does anyone have an idea for me? I'm using Office XP and Office 2K
(not yet working with 2K7).

Neron,

I believe your best bet would be to use the 'pick up object style' button,
to 'grab' the settings from one picture, then apply the 'style' to
subsequent pictures.

The 'pick up object style' button is not normally visible. But if you create
your own 'toolbar', you can add it to that. The symbol looks like a pipette.

Failing that look up the 'format painter' tool using powerpoint help.
