Default Resource Assignment in Task Usage

Hello,

Is there a way to set a default in MS Project to not display the Assigned
Resource line in the Task Usage view? I prefer to display the Resource
column.

Thanks

What if there are two resources on a task?
By all means, you can "close " the task (- sign) and insert Resource Names
as a column.

Jan,

Thanks. But here is my problem: We have Workshop events in the plan that
can have 10-20 attendees. Therefore, we have some tasks with that number of
addittional rows that I would rather not display. So I was hoping to set a
default to NOT display in the rows. Then I could display the lines when
needed.

Thanks

Jeff

You can set Project to not display any assignment line in the Task usage
View : if you click Hide Assignments, then save the file, next time no
assignments will be shown; if you just "close" taht one task, after saving,
closing and reopening it comes up as closed again...
So all you need!
