Is there a way to change the default font setting when building a form? So
that when I drag a field over it's the font and size I predetermine?

Sure! In Design View, place a textbox, for instance, on your form, change the
fornt and font size to your needs, and with it still selected goto Format and
click on Set Control Defaults. You're set!
