Default split window view

Is it possible to define the default view when split window?

When I open a split window, it always shows the 'Task Form' view by default
in the lower split pane. But what I want is that the 'Task Detail Form' opens
by default in the lower split pane.

Is this possible?

There is no way to change the default View in the lower pane when you click
Window - Split, as it will always display the Task Form. To meet your
needs, you should create a new combination View that contains the Gantt
Chart in the top pane and the Task Detail Form in the bottom pane. When you
create the new View, be sure to select the Show in menu option. Name the
new View something like _Custom Task Entry or something like that, and
preface the View name with the underscore character. That will push the new
View to the top of the Views menu and make it easy for you to select. Hope
