Default table styles

Is there a way to set the default for tables in PPT2007?
Every time I create a new table in my company's theme, I have to clear the
formatting and start from scratch.

There's no set default table function similar to shapes.
If you double click on the newly created table, the table tools should appear.
Under Design > Table Styles, click on the dropdown to bring up a list of
selections.
It offers a wide range of styles which include table without borders or one
with black borders. This should helps in clearing the formatting.

Thanks. That's just what I've been doing...just thought there might be an
easier solution. Oh well...
