Hi Brian,
I tried to search on the link you provided but was unable to find a solution.
I want to save a certain appointment format so that when I clik on "New
appointment", this particular appointment format opens.
Should I not be saving this as a template under some Outlook program folder?
Please advise.

You should be publishing your custom form.
