Default View in Project Professional 2007

We have a custom view that is our default view in Project Professional, but
after viewing resource usage/assign tasks view, it no longer goes back to the
default view, Project professional goes to the Ghantt Chart view.

What changes can I make to direct Project Professional to our default view?

Please advise. Thanks!

When a user clicks Tools - Options - View and specifies a Default View
value, this is the View that Project Professional 2007 displays in the blank
project when the user launches the software, or when the user creates a new
blank project. Otherwise, whenver a user saves an enterprise project, the
system saves it with the current View applied, even if the current View is
not the default View. This means that when the user opens the enterprise
project the next time, the software redisplays the last View applied, and
not the Default View.
