Definition of Visio Connectors

I am looking for the definitions of Dynamic, Universal and Line connectors.
What is the difference between them which would help in where to use them.

The dynamic connector is the icon that shows a line with a box at each end.
It automatically adjusts its path to avoid other shapes. It can attach to an
entire shape (shape becomes surrounded by red box) or to individual
connection points.

Line connector is just a 1-D line. It doesn't adjust its route path, and, I
believe it only glues to connection points.

Not sure what a universal connector is.
