Definitive Document on Microsoft Web site re Project Server 2003Licensing

Folks,

I'm scoping a potential implementation of Project Professional and
Project Server. I've found the "How to Buy" page at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/project/howtobuy/epmpricing.mspx

I'm seeking more information on CALs: pricing and basis, e.g.

1. What is the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 External Connector?
It's available for $30k/server, but it's not dicussed (far as I can
tell) in the "Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 Configuration
Planning Guide"
2. One Project CAL per installed computer (or potential user), or one
CAL per concurrent user?
3. How to compute how many SQL Server Licenses required per Project
Server User? (One Project CAL = One SQL Server, or something else?

I'm keen to find where this info documented on web site ... if anyone
knows.

thanks,
rms

Sorry I should have put this in the original reply.

The external connector is only for use by people who are
not part of your organisation. If you have a user who
does not have access to your sites because he/she is not
an employee, contractor, temp, etc. but needs access
(e.g. he is a supplier and needs to check on some plans),
then you can give him/her access via an external
connector. All other users need CALs.

Thanks,

Stuart
