For the past 5 months, or so, I've been using the code for a "folder browse" dialog box that I obtained here:
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0002.htm
It's handy code and seems to work OK...most of the time. But twice in the last five months, the code just seems to blow up.
For instance, I'll click the button that calls the BrowseFolder() function, and I'll get a pop-up box that says "MSACCESS.EXE has generated errors and will have to close. A log file is being created." Then Access just quits on me. (Access 2000).
No warning, and I didn't even change the code surrounding the call to BrowseFolder(). The rest of my code works OK.
What's even stranger is, if I delete the module containing that code (it sits in its own module), and then re-create it, everything is fine again.
Has anyone else experienced this, or can offer an explanation as to what's going on?
