Delay/Failure when replying

We are on MS Exchange Server 2003. We've only been on it
for approx 2 months. We have several internal email
accounts who are not receiving inner office emails. Also,
my station in particular (the administrator) is unable to
reply to several messages coming from within the office.
When I reply to the message it acts as if it sent it and
it shows in my sent box. But approx 1 day later, I
receive and Notification Delivery Status (Delay) message.
Then approx one day later it shoots me back a
Undeliverable Status email that is was unable to be sent.

Does anyone know which direction to point me in fixing
this? I'd appreciate any and all feedback.
