When I open a table or form in Access2003, there is roughly a 20 second
delay for it to come up. I am not sure if it is something to do with
Access2003 or if it is a networking problem, as I am on a network.
However, the network that I am on has not been having any issues when
accessing files in other applications, just in Access. I have looked
all over for info on this and there seems to be none out there. I have
done updates and small fixes for this that have been recommended by
others more experienced but nothing has been resolved. Any tips or
info will be greatly appreciated no matter how small it may seem.

In addition to the general performance tips -- and Tony Toews' page on
the subject is a great place to start -- if you have the Name
AutoCorrect option enabled (Tools -> Options..., General tab), try
disabling it.
