Delegate permissions...please explain.

I have a user who wants to get access to her boss' folders in Outlook
Including sent items and some personal folders. We have successfully given
her access to the inbox and calendar but I am wondering what is the best way,
if any, to go about giving the user rights to the sent items. I don't think
I can but I want to double check before I reply to her.

Thanks as always!

What you will need to do is set individual folder rights at the top level
(Mailbox - Lastname,FirstName) to reviewer for this particular user, and then
assign rights to subfolders in the same way (right-click above and on the
subfolder you wish to set permissions, and go to Sharing... or Properties).
The person wanting to view the Sent Items folder will need to add the mailbox
to their view - to do this, right click on Mailbox - Lastname,Firstname and
go to Properties. On the new window, click the Advanced Button - on the next
window, click on the Advanced Tab, and then click Add to add the user's
mailbox of the Sent Items folder that is needed to be viewed. Click Apply,
OK, OK, and then on the left-hand side, under the Mail Folders view, you
should see the shared Mailbox with the Sent Items folder below it. Depending
on company policy, you may need to work with your Exchange Admin to gain
further rights which can be assigned on the back end.

Hope this helps.
