Delegates in Outlook XP cannot reply to messages in shared mailbo.

I have a shared mailbox set up. User is the owner of this second mailbox as
well as a delegate. Once I add this new mailbox to her outlook she is able to
see the mailbox, read emails etc. She is told she does not have permission to
reply on behalf of this mailbox.
I am not sure if I missed a step in setting this up. Can anyone provide any
input.
