Resource B does not have to already be a member of the project team in order
for resource A to delegate the task to resource B. Instead, when resource A
delegates the task to resource B and the project manager has approved the
delegation request, Project Server automatically adds resource B as an
enterprise team member to the project in question. Hope this helps.

We're using Project Server 2002 and Proj Pro 2002. I have a question
about delegation. If person A wants to delegate a task in a project plan
to person B, does person B already have to be an enterprise resource in this
project plan? Or is there some way for person B to add person A from the
enterprise resource list and do the delegation (assuming person A has the
rights to see all enterprise resources)? thanks.
