DELETE A PAGE From a Document

JUAN

Hello,
is there a way to delete a page within a document.
Example, I can delete the contents but the page stays
there. I want to be able to delete the whole page.
Right now I have
One page with data
Second page Blank, which I deleted the contents,
Third Page with data.

So not sure if there's a way in Word 2000 to delete a
whole page and not just delete the data.

Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Juan

Hi, Juan,

Select the menu item View > Normal. Look for a dotted line across the screen
with either "Page Break" or "Section Break (Next Page)" or "Section Break
(Odd Page)" separating the text. If there is one, select it and delete it.

If you don't see one of those breaks, put the cursor in the first paragraph
of the second page, go to Format > Paragraph, and click the Line and Page
Breaks tab. If the "Page break before" option is checked, clear it. Repeat
this for the first paragraph of the third page.

This is unlikely since you deleted the contents of the page, but just in
case: Press the ¶ button on the toolbar and look for a lot of consecutive
paragraph marks. If you find them, delete them. Press the ¶ button again to
toggle off the nonprinting characters.
