I want to delete my address book from entourage, but when I highlight all
and click delete I receive prompt to select another contact form the Me
contact...how do I do this? Any help would be appreciated.
You can't delete the Me contact (yourself, with the "i" icon). It's too
important - for all sots of things connected with Entourage, Word and Office
generally.
So select all, then go to your Me contact and command-click it to deselect
just that one. Then click delete and all the other contacts will disappear.
If you still want to delete your own contact, make a new contact named
anything (including your own name again) put as little or no information in
it as you want, close it, select it and in Contact menu choose This Contact
is Me. Then you'll be able to delete your old contact of yourself. I don't
recommend this, but you can do it.
