Delete blank page

I have a single page document but a second blank page was created and I
don't know how to delete it. The single page is full to the last useable
space. When I want to print or fax this document, a blank page is cranked
out unless I configure the printer to print one page. Thanks.

click on the Hard line break sympol (backwards P) on the toolbar. Then look
at the bottom of your document, you'll probably see a few of those symbols
there at the left margin. These are blank lines and count on your totals.
Delete them. Aprint preview should also be showing 2 pages, not 1

Thanks John. As you said there were 3-4 symbols and I was able to delete all
but the uppermost one. As I mentioned before I have the first page
completely full (with a table) which I had to tweak to make fit. I don't
think there is any space left for the insertion point on page 1 at the end
of the table so Word is determined that there be a page 2. Any more ideas?

What does it show in "print preview", and in the status bar at the bottom of
the page???

Looks like that one extra line break is the culprit. Can you change your
top or bottom margin by .1 inches or more????

That fixed it John. Thanks for your help.
