Delete Block

Hello,

I am running Office 2000 on Windows 2000. When using
Word, when I highlight any text or place the behind any
text then hit the delete button, nothing happens. On the
status bar at the bottom where the page number is normally
displayed it says "Delete Block Yes/No" I tried to find
an option or setting through out word for "delete block"
but could not find anything. Anyone got any ideas?

Choose Tools - Options - General, and remove the check next to BOTH of the
options that mention WordPerfect.
