Delete Data subkey - How? MS KB Article - Q302629

MS knowledge base article - Q302629

Suggests I delete the Data subkey and then rename the normal.dot file .
Renaming the file should be easy enough but anyone know where I delete the
Data subkey ... thought it might be in Format Styles , but cant see where.
