Delete email on Outlook from Blackberry

When I delete an email from my Blackberry, it asks if I would like to also
delete it from Outlook/computer. I click "yes". It does not delete the
email from the computer.

What type of email account in Outlook? Are you using BIS or BES? (BES
requires Exchange server).
