Delete files in multiple folders?

Is there a way to delete files in multiple folders without "going down" in
each folder? For example, say I have a (large) number of folders all
containing a file with the same suffix that I want to delete. I would like to
do this with one or a few commands (maybe) using the suffix.

Great! Thanks!

You could do a search in Windows Explorer with files named *.fzr or *fzr.*.
Delete what you want.
