Thanks Tom however I do not understand, I am not using FP
just publishing straight from Front Page. It is not
resetting to 0 which I prefer however in the past I have
just deleted it, saved and republished. It just still
stays the same on the web and keeps going up every time I
go look. I prefer to just set it to 0 however this does
not work
Thanks

Be default, the hit counter on your local machine is
marked to not publish.
So, unmark it, or, altnerately, open your live web via
fp and delete it
there.

I cannot delete the hit counter. I have deleted it on
the view page, saved and then published - it is still
on
the website. Also I have gone into reset - put in 0,
saved and published ... still on website. I have also
deleted cookies as well as refreshed page and still
there. Please can anyone help me.
Thanks
