Hello all,

I have an Excel File that is linked to another one.
EDIT

I have the choice between :
Update Now
Open Source
Change Source

How can I know what are exactly the data that are Linked between thes
files.

Also, I would like to delete this link. When I try Open Source, I get
message saying the file is not anymore available !!!

Thanks in advance

Herve,

The source path may have changed. The file may still exist but wa
moved to a different location. Search your computer for the file usin
the search option on the Start menu if you need to restablish the link.
Once you know where it is, open your file, Edit/Links/Change source an
direct the link to the new location.

If you don't care and just want to delete the link, you should als
have a selection called "Break Link". Select this and a pop up wil
appear asking you if you are sure you want to do that. Click OK an
the link will be gone.

Cheers,

Steve,

In Excel Version 2000, I have only :
Update Now
Open Source
Change Source

If there an other way to break this link then ?

Herve,

Unfortunately I don't have 2000 but I looked it up and the direction
gave you should apply to 2000 as well. You have to select the link i
the Source box from Edit/Links. Then maybe it will activate the "Brea
Link" option. Again, since I don't have 2000, I can only rely o
microsoft.com, who gives the same direction.

Good Luck!
