Delete Nuisance Program

I downloaded an Excel Program from the internet that I am
trying to delete. Now everytime I open my Excel program
the message "C:/Program
Files/OrlandoApp/ExcelCalculator.xla" appears on the
initial Excel screen. The program never did run. How do I
delete the message and the program?

Try going to Tools /Add-ins. You should find it listed there and just
deselect it which will stop it loading with Excel startup. You could then
also try and find it on your system and just delete it.

Obviously there is no 'unistall' program right?

Excelcalculator.xla is an add-in file. Go to Tools/Addins.

A dialog box will open. Remove the checkmark for ExcelCalculator.

This sounds like Orlando Magalhães Filho's calculator addin taken from
http://cpap.com.br/orlando/#Calculator

I just tried downloading and installing it. It has an option to either install
as an addin (tools|addins) or to install to your XLStart folder.

And if you installed it correctly, you'll see a "calendar" option when you right
click on a cell. (It allows you to click on a date on a calendar and fill the
activecell.)

The installation package has an uninstall button on it, too.

(I installed, closed excel and reopened and didn't get any message--but I'm not
sure what your message was, either.)
