You can use
Edit > Go To > Special > Constants > OK
to select all cells containing constants rather than formulas, which you can
then clear all together by pressing the Delete key on the keyboard.

You may have (for example) text as well as numbers. Both of these are
considered as constants. If you only want to delete the numbers, use
Edit > Go To > Special > Constants
but remove the tick against "Text" before pressing OK.

If you want to do this to only a part of your worksheet, select that part
before starting the process.

Just a thought but how about using the special paste function in the
Edit Menu or Right Click Menu?

I was thinking that you could a) open up a new sheet, then b) copy and
paste Formulas (and then paste Format also if you wanted too).

One possible problem is how your formulas are set up. It might be the
case that the formulas by themselves might show an error message
without any data to reference.
