Delete posting?

Is there any way to delete a prior posting to this
Newsgroup? The first time I posted I used an email address
vs. anonymous. In 3 weeks I have received 35 emails to that
address that were infected by a virus. Thankfully my email
service provider has screened them out. However, I would
like to delete the posting in the hopes that the
unsolicited emails will quit coming. Thanks to anyone who
can help.

Sorry Sher this is not possible. :-(

The web interface you are using is a portal to the newsgroups/Usenet.
It is not a private moderated forum.

It is too late now even if you could delete the posting because that email
address will already have been harvested. Now either the Swen or MyDoom
virus is having a field day sending out email viruses to every email address
it can find and spoofing the sender's address. I've been getting 40 - 50
such viruses messages a day and I am always exceptionally careful to mung my
email address. I pretty fed up with the offer to see 'The Paris Hilton Video
for Free' too.

Yep, and the Nigerian get rich scheme doesn't appear to work either
(guess I should have sent the money).
