Delete Removed Assignment from Timesheet

Hi,

I am looking for a way to delete assignments from the
timesheet that were removed from resources. At the moment
those assignments are marked with an X. I know that it is
possible to hide them, but I am looking for a way to
permanently remove them from the Project Server.

Our company has a few hundreds of projects and in many
cases a resource is assigned to a task, project is
published and then the resource gets removed from the
task. Since the assignment is removed, that task is then
marked in the timesheet view and stays there forever.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

A bit of a frig I've done in the past...
In Admin page > Clean up Database
In the top part of this page, select to Delete All Assignments
& in the lower area select just the user to be removed
(If you can select specific dates you can save yourself the next steps)

This may well remove all assignments for this user...
Then get PM's to re--publish asignments.

I know this is not an ideal solution as it removes all previous assignments
too, but it does get the job done.

Otherwise recognise that the deleted task will eventually disappear from at
least the Current Tasks view as time passes.

Matt,

Unfortunatelly, this is not possible in my case. If I
haven't missed something it would remove assignments from
all of the projects, and I cannot allow that. Anyway,
thanks for the reply.
