Delete Resource in PWA

Not sure if anyone has run across this...been searching in this group
but have found nothing. Every time I would delete a resource through
"Clean Up Project Server Database" in PWA, they'd be back, active,
again the next day. It was making me crazy. Called our Info Svcs and
they said the users had to first be removed from the Active Directory
(AD) Group they had created that contained the PWA users. AD was
synching up with the PWA users, causing them to reappear. Wow.

If your organization is using Active Directory synchronization with Project,
then the AD sync controls the creation of new resources in the Enterprise
Resource Pool and controls the deactivation of users who leave the company.
As you have discovered, with AD sync in place it is pointless to manually
delete users. Hope this helps.
