Delete site of webserver

My site is ruined, i need to delete it of my webserver but i dont no how. ive
deleted all my local folders and mywebsite folder but im stuck....????

delete the folders on the server - connect it "live" and delete all the files or
go through the actions as if you're going to publish, but when you get to the
window listing files locally and remotely, then delete the files on the remote
list (right hand list).

except, do *not* delete the _private or images folders. Just the content
within.
