Delete the office-2000 desktop shortcut

Please help, I'm currently using office-2000 and everytime I boot the PC get
a the office desktop shortcut in the middle of the desktop and I keep having
to minmise it. This is driving me mad, please how can I get rid of it?

Close it and elect not to have it start again.
