We have decided not to do this (and I think for good
reasons) Basically, if you have a project plan that
references the resource, and you delete them you lose your
actuals that they have been working on. If, instead you
deactivate the user (under Admin - Manage users and
Groups, select the resource and then Deactivate User) They
no longer have access. (I think you also have to set
their max units to 0% and/or the Inactive field to Yes in
the Enterprise Resource pool via Project Pro)
If you really want to delete them you need to go to MS
Project Pro - Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise
Resource Pool, then delete them from there.
I'd reccommend just deactivating them, however. If you
are worried someone will "use" the resource, you can
create a grouping field "Archived" or something similar to
indicate the resource will not respond. Also, I'd suggest
setting up an e-mail account for all "archived" resources
and change their e-mail notifications to the new e-mail
account (just in case). As an admin, you can see if any e-
mails pop up, and resolve from there...
