deleted files in Groove

Derek

in trying to down-size my 3+ gb Groove workspace, i attempted to move a large
folder to desktop. during this transfer a fatal error occurred in Groove
and i lost the folder. i've attempted to get others within the workspace who
have not been online (or in Groove) recently to pull this folder. for
whatever reason this folder
isn't available on any of these PCs. i'm now at a loss on how to recover
these files. would one of those old DOS programs called PCundelete work in
helping me recover what i've lost?

Hi Derek -

If you cannot see the file in the space, chances are it is gone - when
deleted out of Groove, it really is deleted. You might try making a backup of
the space and restorig it, but that's clutching at straws.

I've never known copying files out of Groove cause them to become deleted.
It puzzles me that your colleagues who were'nt online don't see the file
either. Are you sure someone didn't delete it?

Hi Derk,

If you use Vista then there is a way using the previous version that is
within Vista.
But be aware that this is not the way to go. How delta's then get sync could
be an issue. But if these files are so important it is a way to go.

see ya
