Deleted Items with Cached Exchange Mode in 2003

Server is Exchange 2003 w/ SP1
Client is OL2003 w/SP1 on XPSP1

Client is configured in 'Cached Exchange Mode'

I have noticed several wierd things related to Deleted Items.

1 - If I recover a deleted item, it can't be found in Cached Exchange
Mode. If I use OWA or turn of Cached Exchange, the item is there.
Forcing synch with Shift+F9 doesn't do it. Marking the item unread
won't do it. It's as if the synchronization between the 'offline
folder' and the Information Store just don't handle deleted item recovery.

2 - If I delete an item in Cached Exchange mode, then login to OWA and
empty deleted items, it doesn't translate back to Cached Exchange.

3 - I haven't really found a pattern to this one, but no matter how many
times I empty deleted items in Cached Exchange mode, eventually, I'll
login to OWA and there will be at least a couple (maybe more) items in
Deleted Items that just don't show up in Cached Exchange mode.

The only real nuisance is that recoved deleted items do show up in
Cached Exchange mode. The other two things I include because I think
they're symptomatic of the same general problem.

Anybody see or dealt with this???
