Deleted tasks still on time sheet and new tasks not on timesheet - Project Server 2003

Hi,

Before deleting tasks from a published plan on the server, I did not
"zero" the % complete,.
As a result, neither the deleted tasks (with the "X" in the
information column) nor thenew tasks appear on the team member's
time sheet.
I know that one solution is to save the plan as file, delete the one
the server and re-import the saved file.
However , this would mean deletion of Sharepoint services and all
documents associated to the project.
Can someon thinsk of another solution?
Thanks a lot.

Refer to the following FAQ to delete a project but preserver the WSS subweb:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/DeleteProjectW...

Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thanks for this extremely quick answer.
Is deleting project and re-importing saved project then "re-attaching"
it to sharepoint site the best solution to my problem?
Will deleted tasks of a deleted project disappear from timesheet? (as
I know this is not the case is project is still on server).

Thanks again.

Hi Dale,

Have followd, FAQ instructions. Now two problems.

- Team members can not access the project documenst any longer - I
think this can be sorted by going into sharepoint site admin and
adding them here. Is this correct?
- Team members can not see their tasks in timesheet any longer - I did
click, collaborate/publish/all information. Any idea on how make the
task reappear?

Thanks a lot.

After you import the project, you must click Collaborate - Publish -
Republish Assignments. Hope this helps.
