Deleted View from the Excel menu - now what?!

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel While customizing toolbars and menus, I goofed and dragged VIEW off the menu bar and into NOWHERE! All Help topics I've found so far send me to Reset and Customize' - which is located under View which is NOWHERE to be found.

Please tell me you have the magic button...

One way, using AppleScript (paste into AppleScript Editor and run):

tell application "Microsoft Excel"
reset command bar "Worksheet Menu Bar"
end tell


Alternatively:

With Excel closed, delete the

~:Library:preferences:Microsoft:Office 2008:Excel Toolbars (12)

file (but you will lose all customizations)
