Deleteing Page Numbering

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have a document with page numbering in it that I would like to delete. I can see where to add new page numbering (I now have two sets of numbers but unable to find where to delete page numbering from a document. No luck looking through other posts. Any ideas?

You simply select them and press "Delete".

Look up "Headers and Footers": One set of your page numbers will be in the
header or footer.
