Deleting a Custom Text Field

Hi All,

I have a non-enterprise level custom field (Text2)which
no matter what I do, will not allow me to delete its
custom attributes. I can go out to it and remove the list
values, delete it out of every reference in the organizer
and it will magically re-appear once I save, exit and re-
access Project. No matter what I do, Text2 shows up in
any project or template I create.

Any ideas out there?????

Go to the tools menu, select organizer. Click on the fields tab.
In one of the bottom boxes make sure that global.mpt is selected.
Find the text field.
Click on the delete button.

Thanks again Jack, I tried that and once I save and exit
from MS Project, they reappear when I return. Strange
stuff!
