Deleting all forwards?

J

Jimmy Dover

Hi! When I open an email in Outlook 2003 that has forwards, I sometimes have
to open several forwards to get to the desired attachment. I understand that
this is because the sender sent all of the forwards that they received,
instead of the one with the attachment. I am not even going to try to correct
this with my senders. When I am finished reading the forwarded emails, I
delete them one at a time. When I delete them, a Microsoft Office Outlook
message appears on the screen that says, "This item has been changed. Do you
want to delete it?" Then I have to click "Yes" for every forward in that
email. I do not know what has "changed" in each forward, other than the fact
that I have opened it. This is an annoying hassle. Of course I want to delete
it! Is there someway to configure Outlook so that this message box question
does not appear when I delete the forwards within an email? (other than
closing them
and deleting the forward(s) from the Inbox) Thanks, Jimmy.

By deleting the included attachments, you change the mail. Just close them
and delete the original you recieved, all the others go bye bye with it.

(I'll bet half the included attachments come from AOHellers - that's the
only way they can forward. Sigh)
