Deleting and clearing a message with one click

JMS

I am using Outlook 2007.

After I read emails, I delete them so they go to deleted folder (which I've
set to NOT clear upon exiting).

Then a week later, I'll go through deleted folder, decide which message I
want to keep and which message I have no more need for. I moved the ones I
want to keep to another folder, and delete the ones I do not want to save.

Is there a way for me to get rid of those messages I know I will not want to
save with one step? As opposed to deleting them out of Inbox, then having
to go onto Delete folder and delete again?

(I can't set the Delete box to clear upon exiting, because there are message
in there that I know I'll want to save.)

Thank you.

Shift+Delete will delete them forever.

Personally, I think you really need to find a better filing setup. You
wouldn't store important papers in a real trash can and shouldn't do it with
electronic documents.
