Deleting Appendix

B

Bagia

Hello,

I have a document that contains two Appendix Titles (A Appendix Title and B
Appendix Title) appearing at the bottom of the document. It is not within
the footer section, but above and not within the body of the document. Also,
this document contains Track Changes and no one seems to know how the
Appendix titles got included in the document. I want to get rid of the
Appendix titles, but it wouldn't allow me to select it and I can't figure how
to do it.

Can someone help?

Possibly a text box anchored to the footer but placed in the document body
and/or possibly formatted as Behind Text. If it is Behind Text and anchored
to a document paragraph, you'll need the Select Objects tool to grab it; if
it's anchored to the footer, you should be able to select it when the footer
is open.

Hi Suzanne,

It is not a text box. When I do ALT + F9, it has Field Codes {PAGE} after A
Appendix title text and that section has gray background and cannot be
selected. Any other suggestions?

I checked the link you provided and it is not a frame. Is there anyway I can
send you a snapshot of the issue. Perhaps you can get a better picture of
what I'm dealing with? Plase let me know.

Thanks.

You can email me a sample of the problem document. NOT a picture but the
document itself.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I am unable to send the file due to
confidential information contains in the document.

Thank you for all your help.

Well, then I can't help further. Perhaps you could delete the proprietary
content and send a sample illustrative of the problem?
