Deleting conditional formatting

I am unable to delete the conditional formatting on a
range of cells probably due to some cutting/pasteing.
The conditional format in greyed out in format menu. Any
help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Sheet protection is off. As I use
Go To/Special/Condtional Formatting/All then the range is
highlighted with several exceptions in cells (obvously
those that were cut and paste) As it's highlighted I
cannot access Condtional formatting from the format menu
to delete conditional formatting. I hope I haven't
confused things. Thanks again

You probably have sheet protection turned on.
