Deleting Contacts

I have recently deleted some contacts from my address book, but when I go to
start a new email and begin to type out the email address I still see the
recently deleted individuals listed as options. How do I permanently remove
old contacts from this application all together so they do not show up in any
instance of my using outlook? Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

You would never use the address book interface to edit or manipulate Contact
data. You do that in Contacts Folders. Even when you do, it will not affect
your autocompletion cache, which I assume from your very vague description
is what you are actually using.

to add to what Russ has said you press the delete key on your keyboard to
delete the entry you see. Use the arrow keys to select the entry to delete.
