deleting contacts

I need to know how to permanently remove an address from my contacts. I
thought i deleted the addressee but there still receiving my email blasts
which is causing some of my clients to get upset. Please help me fix this
problem. Thank u

Delete them not only from the contacts, but also from any distribution
lists you created.
