Deleting email in Outlook 2007 not deleting on Blackberry 8830 wir

Greetings:

I helped a friend set-up her new Blackberry 8830 (Verison) using wireless
sync for her email. She is getting her emails but when she deletes them from
her Outlook 2007 they are not deleting on her Blackberry. Also, when you
delete on the Blackberry they are not deleting in Outlook.

We are not using BES.

Thoughts?
