Deleting Emails - Not just striking through.

Hello,

I'm an Office Outlook 2007 noob unfortuantly, so this is a really
stupid question but I can't find the help anywhere else.

When I delete an email, it strikes through it in my inbox, but I'd
like it to dissapear, can anyone help?

For what mail account type? If IMAP choose Edit-> Purge Deleted Items or
simply change folders if you have Auto Purge enabled.
