deleting file

Need Help. I want to use Access to import a dbf file and
after this import I want to delete the orginal dbf file.
I remember some sort of KILL command in a macro I tried
everything just can't get it to delete something no in
the Access database. Any suggestions?

Kill is the command to use in code (not macro) to delete a file.
