Deleting from Resources table

I am trying to delete a resource from my Project Server.
I have looked in the MSP_Resources table and nothing is
in the table but I still have id's showing up in PWA. How
do I get rid of those? I ran a delete query that I got
from TechNet to remove the info from all of the tables.

Also is there any reason why you would need to setup an
ODBC connection between a client pc that has MS Project
Professional 2002 on it and the Project Server?
