Deleting highlighted text?

Deleting a highlighted part of a word
does not delete, but generate a question at
the bottom of window:
Delete Block? No (Yes)
Very irritating!
How can one go back to delete selected text
normally?

This means you have your Word Perfect tips turned on. Go to Tools,
Options, General tab, and uncheck the Help for WordPerfect users
checkbox. This will return operation back to normal.
