Deleting Inserted Projects

When I insert a project into a master project, I am having trouble deleting
them. I get a prompt telling me that I am trying to delete a summary task
and that deleting it will delete all subtasks as well, which I want it to do.
So I click "Continue, Delete X task and all subtasks, click OK, and then
nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Isn't this 2003 Standard without the Service Pack?

It is MS Office Project Standard 2003 - not sure about the service pack. Do
I need that?

Hi Michelle,

Look in Help-Help about.
The pre-service pack version had some nasty bugs in teh master-subproject
area.

The Help- Help about does not mention a service pack. What do I do about
getting this de-bugged? This is software purchased through my employer.

Hi Michelle,

The service pack (which is in fact a correction on the software originally
sold) can be downloaded (free of course) from MS's site but I don't know the
exact address by heart.
You can search for it on the site or with a little bit of luck someone
reading this has the exact URL?
There are Two - SP1 and SP2 - I have SP1 installed but SP2 should do just as
well.
